Last summer we took a short and modest trip to the Okanagan. We house sat for some generous friends in Westbank, stopped regularly at Bliss Bakery to pick up picnic supplies, hung out with friends with a boat (FUN), had a day of jet skiing at Summerland Resort, and wandered around Naramata wineries (one of our favourite places in the world). No fancy Joy Road dinners this year, sadly. There’s always next summer.

Sangria at Salty’s. A fine annual Penticton tradition. Although I am very sad they no longer serve the Cuban sandwich. That was my favourite.
